Cancer New Moon Women's Circle

During this Cancer New Moon, nourish yourself with healthy food and close friends, spruce up your spaces so you feel at home everywhere, connect to family, spend time near water, get in touch with your emotions.

The sun sign Cancer is the embodiment of The Mother archetype. To honor this energy we will be working with our internal mothers. We practice exercises in re-mothering our inner children, and discuss paths toward healing the mother wound.

Whether you did or did not have a mother, whether your relationship to your mother is healthy or strained, we all have much to learn about the ways The Mother shows up far beyond literal motherhood. We find her everywhere in nature and in philosophy.

The New Moon's influence is opportune for initiating projects and commencing endeavors. It is the moment to set your intentions into the quantum field. We gather together to honor an age old tradition as women, of celebrating the new beginning of a lunar phase.

Following moon cycles is a great way to set goals and reap their benefits. Astrologers believe that our energy awakens at the new moon, then peaks two weeks later at the full moon. By tracking the moon, we can tap into our intuition, setting goals that match our energy levels best throughout the month.

This nourishing feminine space is all about community celebration, making space for rest, and giving ourselves a chance to sit with our intentions for the future. When women come to together it amplifies each woman's energy and potential to create more alignment in her life. At these circles each woman is given the space and attention to share her truth, her desires, her vision. We take the time to uplift one another and call upon the medicine of heart-opening cacao to drop into presence with our bodies, minds, and spirits.

We will share a loving cacao ceremony, mantra meditation and singing, a sharing circle, intention setting, and movement + breath!

Please bring a journal/ paper and pen with you as well as any blankets or pillows you'd like to get extra cozy. Additionally, if you'd like to bring along an object of meaning to place in the center of the circle on the altar space, please do!
